Nu är han igång och fastar igen! JMs och Fungs bok släpptes för några dagar sedan och då är det väl lägligt att fasta om inte annat för att sälja in boken.
När han fastade i januari sa han att hans mål var att ha fler fastedagar än ätdagar men jag har inte på nåt lätt sätt lyckats kolla hur det gått för honom. Jag gissar att han inte lyckats för jag tänker att då hade han varit mån att nämna det men å andra sidan kanske någon talat om för honom att det kanske inte är den bästa reklamen för hans "underdiet".

My goal this time around isn't so much about crunching numbers and statistics obsessively (I've done that before!), but instead to just stay chilled, de-stressed, and taking things more in stride as a means of keeping the negative impact of #stress from sabotaging me.
Interestingly, the usual struggles I have in Day 2 of fasting disappeared this time and (GET THIS!) I haven't had anything other than liquid drinks. No kombucha or bone broth with sea salt this time and I still feel fabulous. Obviously I will consume some broth with sea salt at some point during this 21 days if I feel I need it. But not yet.
Three days into my 21-day #fasting attempt and so far, so good. My blood ketones have started to rise at 1.2 mmol/L and my blood sugar is down to 90. I'm expecting these numbers to improve dramatically in the next day or two of updates on my #JimmyScopes videos. I currently have amazing energy and my wife Christine says my snoring has subsided as of today. Wow! I'm feeling great and believe this #fast is going to go well as long as I keep my stress levels minimized...and I am actively working to make sure that happens. My four-day update on my current 21-day #fasting experiment (yes, as in not eating any food at all) is full of energy and stamina which goes against everything most people think about fasting for longer than a few hours. But I'm going strong with #bloodsugar in the 80's and #ketones fueling me well. In this #JimmyScopes update, I explain how I am not hungry at all which is counterintuitive to what we've been told about the need to eat, eat, and eat some more. And I'm feeling so good this go around without needing to use bone broth or kombucha at all for this fast.
